Nanotron’s embedded location platform delivers location-awareness for safety and productivity solutions across industrial and consumer markets. The platform consists of chips, modules and software that enable precise real-time positioning and concurrent wireless communication for the location-aware Internet of Things.

The job:

Participate in the development of nanontron's high performance RF transceiver with location awareness and robust wireless communication used in our location infrastructure and tags. Become part of the chip designer team and deliver tapeout-ready digital and mixed-signal models. Work with different wireless transmission and encryption technologies and have an impact on the next generation of location aware devices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design the digital and mixed signal part of nanotron's location chips.
  • Create regression tests of the models you design.
  • Work closely together with the analog chip design team.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Digital Chip Design, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience of VHDL
  • Experience in the development of UWB and ISM-Band chips
  • Experience in the development of i2c and spi interfaces

Desired:

  • Experience with common toolchains delivered from modelsim, xilinx, cadence
  • Familiarity with the usage of FPGA's
  • Experience with C, C++ and Desktop applications
  • Experience with python
  • Experience with git or some other distributed VCS
