nanotron Technologies was strongly involved in IEEE 802.15. The task group 802.15.4a developed “IEEE Std 802.15.4a™-2007”. This standard which contains a CSS Physical Layer meanwhile has been included in IEEE Std 802.15.4™-2011. IEEE 802.15.4 standards are used for low rate, low power applications. After the publication of 802.15.4a in 2007 nanotron Technologies has continued to participate in 802 wireless standardization work.
